Keg Tapping Tickets are only available for purchase in person beginning at 11am on Friday\, October 2\, 2026.\n\nKeg Tapping Ceremony ticket sales benefit the Amana Heritage Society as a fundraiser to support the preservation and interpretation of the cultural heritage of the Amana Colonies\, including over 60 years of Oktoberfest.\n\n*Keg Tapping tickets are $5*** and require the purchase of admission to the Amana Colonies Oktoberfest – Ticket Sales for the Keg Tapping will take place at the Admission Booth at the Festhalle*Keg Tapping tickets are limited and will go on sale at 11am at the Amana Colonies Oktoberfest Admission Booth at the Festhalle – we will be there to answer questions and give directions as needed**The Walking Parade will begin at the Festhalle Barn if the weather allows! Gathering around the Bürgermeister Float will begin at the Amana Festhalle Barn at 1:30pm\, and the Walking Parade will begin at 1:45pm. The result is The Iowa Play—a gentle comedy in two acts by playwright Kathe Mull\, receiving its first public reading on Saturday\, October 10\, 2026\, at the Amana Performing Arts Center\, 39 38th Avenue\, Amana\, IA (across from the Amana RV Park). \nPresented by the Amana Heritage Society and TKM Theatrical Productions\, doors will open at 2:30 p.m.\, with the performance beginning at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased at this link! \nTickets are $25 per person. The Communal Meals take place in our last remaining Communal Kitchen that was used before 1932 in the Communal Era and does have a few steps. Meals are served family style and there may be some allergies that we cannot accommodate.

Each child will receive an Easter basket filled with goodies\, and the Easter Bunny will be here with us! For ages 12 and below. Please be aware that baskets contain small toys and candy and children should always be supervised. Cost is $8/child; tickets must be purchased in advance. \n  \nTickets support the Amana Heritage Museum to continue to Preserve\, Interpret\, and Share the Cultural Heritage of the Amana Colonies!
