Description
Help support the Amana Heritage Society’s future Folk Art Museum which will be housed at the Homestead Store Museum by helping fund a Security System for the building. We have a bid with a local company of $8,500 to install a full security system for theft, fire, and water; the system will also monitor temperature and humidity of the collections within the building. Unique and Priceless objects will be housed in the Folk Art Museum for both display and collection storage, such as fine art paintings, photography, quilting and other textiles, and much more. Our Curator and Director, Rebecca and Jon, have secured an incredible grant from the Hall-Perrine Association to fund the exhibit cases, walls, and equipment. One of the final necessary pieces to keep us on track to open the Folk Art Museum late in 2024 is the security system.
