DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, April 12th\, 2025 for an Easter Traditions class at the newly opened Homestead Folk Art Museum. During this class\, from 10am-1pm\, we will talk about spring holiday traditions in the Amana Colonies while learning how to dye Amana Glue Eggs. During the class we will also try Amana Easter bunny cookies and get a tour of the Homestead Folk Art Museum focusing on artifacts that help tell the story of Easter Traditions in the Amana Colonies. At the end of the class\, everyone will be able to take home dyed eggs and cookies! \n  \nTickets and more information here!

SUMMARY:Homestead Folk Art Museum Open House & Reception
DESCRIPTION:The Homestead Folk Art Museum will host its grand opening on Saturday\, April 5th with FREE admission for all guests from 10am-7pm! During the day the Folk Art Museum will be open for visitors to explore and learn about the cultural heritage of the Amana Colonies. During that time various local artists and makers will be working on their crafts\, such as weaving and tatting. A reception will take place from 4pm-7pm.
