Description
AHS owns over 900 endangered films, videos, and audio recordings. In the past six years, we have committed to digitizing this media collection. These materials capture Amana voices, events, and stories that will otherwise be lost. To date, our three phases are estimated to cost $25,000. We secured $10,000 in grants, $5,000 in in-kind contributions, and $7,300 in cash donations. We need $2,700 by October 1, 2025 to send the recordings from Phase 3 to Media Preserve in Pennsylvania to complete the project and leverage our final grant funds. The previous two phases are complete.
